Returns, Refunds & Exchange Policy

At Baari, we want every piece you receive to make you smile. If something isn't right, we'll fix it on priority — that's a promise.

 

Quick summary

  • Exchange or store credit available within 7 days of delivery
  • Eligible for: damaged items, wrong item received, manufacturing defects
  • Email us at Hello@shopbaari.com with your order ID and unboxing photos/video — we respond within 24 hours
  • Once approved, you receive store credit valid for 90 days or a replacement (your choice)

When we accept an exchange or store credit

We'll happily resolve your request if any of the following applies:

  1. The item arrived damaged — broken chain, dented stone, tarnished plating, missing piece
  2. You received the wrong item — different product or colour than what you ordered
  3. There's a manufacturing defect — clasp not working, stone falling out, plating issue beyond normal wear

To qualify, please share clear photos or a short unboxing video showing the issue. This helps us confirm and process your request faster — and helps us improve our QC for everyone.

When we cannot accept an exchange

To be fair to all our customers, we cannot process exchanges for:

  • Items returned after 7 days from delivery date
  • Items that have been worn, used or show signs of wear (tarnishing from contact with perfume, sweat, water beyond normal use)
  • Earrings — for hygiene reasons, unless they arrived damaged or wrong
  • Items damaged due to mishandling, dropping, or improper care
  • Personalised or custom-made pieces (initials, custom engraving) — unless damaged or wrong
  • Items purchased on flat sale of 40% or more, except for damage or wrong-item cases

How to start a return or exchange

  1. Email us at info@shopbaari.com within 7 days of delivery, with:
    • Your order ID (e.g. #BAARI1234)
    • Photos or a short unboxing video showing the issue
    • Brief description of the problem
  2. We respond within 24 hours (often within 2 hours during business hours)
  3. Once approved, we'll either:
    • Send a replacement of the same item (free, no extra shipping for you), OR
    • Issue store credit valid for 90 days that you can use across the entire Baari collection
  4. Return shipping:
    • For damaged or wrong items: we cover the return courier cost — we'll arrange pickup or reimburse you
    • For any other case where we approve an exchange: return courier is at your end

Order cancellation

You can cancel your order any time before it's dispatched from our warehouse. Once shipped, cancellation isn't possible — but you can still raise an exchange request after delivery if anything is wrong.

To cancel, WhatsApp or email us with your order ID as soon as possible.

A note on Cash on Delivery (COD)

If you've placed a COD order and decide you don't want it, please cancel before dispatch rather than refusing at delivery. Refused COD orders directly hurt us (we lose forward + return shipping), and repeated refusals will result in COD being disabled for that account. We'd much rather sort out any concern with you — please reach out.

Damaged in transit?

Don't worry — we'll sort it on priority. Email Hello@shopbaari.com with unboxing photos/video within 48 hours of delivery, and we'll ship a replacement or refund immediately.
